About Us
My name is Nathan Thompson and I am the Managing Partner of Big Blue Moving. After serving as a career Firefighter for over 10 years I began working part-time for a close friend’s local business, Wildcat Moving. Raleigh Bruner, the Managing Partner of Wildcat Moving and I have been close friends for over 15 years. Coming into this field, I had no idea what an empire Wildcat had become. Between the almost limitless services they provided to the community or the countless sister companies, offering everything from auto repair to dog boarding, this company has shown me that providing quality and affordable services to the community is paramount for a successful business.
I am committed to providing quality service to the community. I believe that a reputation as an honest and reliable businessman is the recipe for success. While others seek to profit by cutting corners or recommending unnecessary services to customers, I believe that a good reputation and consistent service will reap bigger profits in the long run. Being trustworthy, reliable, and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done are all traits I have had since childhood, through the Fire Service and now on to the business world. Blake L. and Jordan K. did a phenomenal job packing our 5 bedroom house for an out of state move. They were careful, pleasant, and prepared for anything. Even the unexpected storm didn’t stop their progress. There was a question if we would need a second truck from our transporter for the out of state move. Blake and Jordan communicated openly with us to ensure we were prepared to go either way. They packed us so well, everything fit into the 26’ truck and nothing appears to be damaged in transport. Great work! I’d recommend Blake, Jordan, and Big Blue to anyone!

I have hired movers 5 times in the last 2 years. I feel I have become a pretty good judge. These guy are just Great! From the first phone call they were quick to respond, professional and knowledgeable. I had 3 storage units that needed to be organized and combined into 1 large Climate Control Unit. Their estimate was right on. 3 other companies said it would take 3-4 hours longer. These guys showed up on time, worked hard and steady. Treating my belongings with respect. I chose Big Blue Moving because of their ratings online and so glad that I did! From start to finish, Big Blue Moving provided excellent service. The day of our move was met with heavy rain, strong winds & cold temps, yet my movers (Brandon, Ethan, Nate & Christian) were most efficient and careful with my belongings…and I didn’t hear one complaint! They were professional & polite through the entire process…and completed the job in 2 hours less than I had thought! I would definitely use Big Blue Moving again!
